Police foils drug smuggling attempt

Muscat: Coast Guard Police vessels in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, arrested 7 infiltrators while attempting to smuggle drugs into the Sultanate in association with international drug cartels for the purpose of trafficking. The police seized 60 bundles of crystal meth and 30 pieces of hashish.
