All teaching staff, families exempted from institutional quarantine

Muscat: The Supreme Committee has excluded all teaching staff in government, private and international institutions, and their families coming to the Sultanate from the institutional quarantine, provided that they adhere to the home quarantine and wear the electronic bracelet, a statement from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said in a statement to all airlines operating in Oman.


Earlier in Mid July, all medical and medical assistance categories (including all healthcare providers working in the public and private health sectors such as doctors and nurses, labs and X-ray technicians, pharmacists, and their family members are exempted from the mandatory institutional quarantine upon arrival to the Sultanate and shall adhere to home quarantine and to wear the electronic tracking bracelet.
