SUMAIL: The latest survey conducted by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism unearthed an archaeological site in Al Khobar town, the Wilayat of Sumail, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
The ministry has managed to discover an archaeological tomb dating back to the late Iron Age, or the so-called Samad era. The features of 14 tombs were identified.
This comes within the framework of the continuous surveying and documenting of archaeological sites carried out by the ministry in various governorates of Oman. -- ONA
