Home vaccination for special target groups in Oman

The Directorate General of Health Services for the Governorate of Muscat will provide home immunization service against covid 19 for a group of clinically handicapped and those with special needs whose condition prevents them


health from attending the immunization centers.


"Those responsible for the caring of this category are kindly requested to go directly to the health center, with the need to bring for registration during workdays Sunday to Thursday (8 am- 1 pm).


The registered person will be contacted to schedule a visit for home immunization.


Dr. Thamra bint Saeed Al Ghafriya of the Director-General of Health Services for the Governorate of Muscat said that the vaccination service inside the car will resume at Oman Automobile Association in the coming week.


Pregnant women have been also added to the second phase of the national immunization campaign against Covid-19.


Due to the safety of vaccines for the pregnant, the ministry urged all pregnant women to approach the vaccination centres to get the vaccine, starting from the fourth month of pregnancy.
