Muscat: An official session of talks was held at the Foreign Ministry here on Tuesday between the Sultanate and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Omani side was headed by Shaikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Under Secretary for Diplomatic Affairs in the Foreign Ministry whilst the Iranian side was chaired by Ali Asghar Khaji, Senior Advisor to the Iranian Foreign Minister.
The talks reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries and stressed keenness on enhancing them on different areas.
The two sides also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of common concern.
The session was attended by Ali Najafi, Ambassador of Iran to the Sultanate and a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry. --ONA
