HM approves launch of National Employment Programme

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik affirmed, while presiding over a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday, that the employment of national job-seekers is an extreme national priority which is place on top of the government’s priorities.


His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik commended the package of initiatives aimed at providing job opportunities.


His Majesty approved the launch of the National Employment Programme which is considered as one of the most important programmes of the Oman Vision 2040.


The programme targets to find sustainable solutions for providing jobs in various government’s sectors and the private sector. Besides, it will analyse job-seekers data until they enter the labour market.


His Majesty gave his directives to the relevant entities to support the implementation of the National Employment Programme.
