MoU inked for enabling national cadres in telecom, mailing sectors

Muscat: The Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Global Computers Services Company (GlobCom).


The MoU aims to create an online platform for attracting national competencies in different technological fields, as well as areas of telecom and mailing services in order to supply the labour market with competent Omani job seekers.


The MoU was signed by Eng Ahmed Hasan al Hadabi, TRA Acting Executive Manager - Strategy Planning Unit, and Dr Ahmed Mohammed al Nuamani, General Manager of GlobCom.


The Acting Executive Manager of the TRA’s Strategy Planning Unite pointed out that they are working with the operators and the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development to allocate more projects and work to the competent Omani graduates to enhance their capabilities and sharpen their skills through training programmes. --ONA
