MUSCAT: In response to the Royal directives issued by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Supreme Commander, to expedite the recruitment of nationals, the Royal Air Force of Oman (Rafo) is completing the procedures to receive new recruits.
The move comes in continuation of the national efforts made by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) in coordination with the ministry of labour to employ nationals in different corps of SAF and the other departments of the ministry of defence.
Rafo has deployed its expertise, capacities as well as its administrative and health requirements and means of transportation, to provide a suitable environment for speedy implementation of the recruitment procedures for joining the military service.
In addition, SAF continues to receive groups of applicants who meet the general conditions for recruitment in accordance with a scheduled time frame for recruitment at different corps of SAF and the other units of the Ministry of Defence. — ONA
