The Ministry of Education said that it is completing the procedures for appointing 2,733 teachers for the academic year 2021-2022. The new recruits will include fresh graduates who have undergone written tests this year as well as the graduates from the previous years and whose names are on the waiting list.
Of these 369 jobs have been secured through the replacement of expatriate teachers.
The ministry said that it has followed the applicable standard appointment procedures.
The ministry said the names of the newly-appointed teachers will be announced by June after completing the administrative procedures, noting that the number of appointees may increase during the upcoming period due to the replacement process and will stabilize through the outset of the next academic year. — ONA
