VICTORIA: President Wavel Ramkalawan of the friendly Republic of Seychelles received credentials of Ali bin Abdullah al Mahrouqi, as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Seychelles.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik along with his best wishes of good health and happiness to the president and the friendly people of Seychelles more progress and prosperity.
The president of the Republic of Seychelles asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik along with his best wishes to the Omani people, expressing his hope to foster the new bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
On the other side, the president of Seychelles and the ambassador discussed the aspects of future cooperation between the two countries to enhance relationships in the fields of tourism, blue economy, fisheries and ports. — ONA
