The Earthquake Monitoring Committee at Sultan Qaboos University said that an earthquake measuring 4.9 was reported in Southern Iran at a depth of 9 km.
EMC said that the earthquake occurred at 3:52 local time, 673 km away from Khasab in the Musandam Governorate.
