MUSCAT: The Information Technology Authority (ITA), represented by Sas Center for Virtual Reality, held on Monday a networking session at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation to showcase the potentials and applications of the emerging Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in business and industrial uses.
The session was attended by Omar bin Salim al Shanfari, Deputy CEO for Operation at ITA, and representatives from government and private entities.
The session aimed at presenting the benefits and different applications of VR and AR as well as sharing successful experiences of effective use for these technologies.
During the session, Occidental of Oman, the military Technological College and Oman Medical Specialty Bored/Medical Simulation Centre presented and discussed their experiences in using virtual and augmented reality. — ONA
