Tourism Minister meets Iranian investors

TEHRAN: Ahmed bin Nasser al Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism, met in Tehran on Monday with Chairman of the Iranian Bunyad company to discuss means of enhancing joint cooperation between the Sultanate and the Islamic Republic of Iran on various fields that serve the tourism sector.
The two sides discussed heritage fields and the bilateral coordination at the level of museums, constructing hotels and setting up joint projects and investments in the Sultanate and Iran. The two sides also touched on the tourist potentials in the Sultanate and Iran and discussed the existing ports and launching air and naval routes in order to enhance tourist relations between the two countries.
It should be noted that the Minister of Tourism is visiting Shiraz City in south Iran to view the Iranian experience in the field of restoring the heritage guest houses and to meet with the Iranian investors. — ONA
