MUSCAT: The Sultanate’s philosophy is peace and peace for all nations that share with us the meaning of peace, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, said in an interview with the American programme This Is America and the World.
“Every country has the right to apply the system that is suitable to it but there are limits that no country can cross, we do not interfere in other countries’ affairs and we don’t accept anyone interfering in our own affairs. We strive to create partnership and friendship with others,” Bin Alawi said.
Commenting on Israeli Prime Minister’s recent visit to the Sultanate and how it was viewed by the rest of the world, Alawi stressed that the Sultanate is trying to find a solution to these conflicts but that is not the priority, the priority, Alawi said, is to create mechanisms that make people accept the principles of peace and coexistence. — ONA
