The Royal Navy of Oman Vessel (RNOV) Shabab Oman II has anchored at the Port of Halmstad in Sweden coming from Netherlands after taking part in Den Helder Sailing Festival 2017 as part of her ‘Sail of Peace and Friendship’ European tour.
The ship will take part at the Halmstad Tall Ships Festival, 2017.
Earlier, Shabab Oman II concluded her participation at the Den Helder Sailing Festival, 2017 held in the Netherlands from June 22-25.
The ship had set sail from the Port of Den Helder heading towards the Port of Halmstad in Sweden.
Shabab Oman II’s participation at the Den Helder festival was met with a wide attention from the people of the Netherlands as well as foreign communities.
An estimated 25,000 people were on board the ship to have a closer look at what appeared to them as miracle.
The ship also received wide media coverage, the local TV station broadcasted a daily report dedicated to Shabab Oman II including interviews with the ship crew and trainees.
