MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) continued its expanded campaign to update its customer database. The campaign, which was launched last December, includes updating the data for more than 450,000 customers in the different wilayats. Since the launching of the campaign, more than 25,000 customers have updated their data. As per the campaign, which aims at providing customers with better services, customers will be required to update their personal data, such as the name, the phone number, the meter number, the civil ID number and the permanent address. Customers may update their data very easily either by calling the call centre which operates 24/7 at 1442, answer the questions during the calls made by the call centre staff or through the Authority’s website. Customers may also visit any of the 35 customer service centres at the different parts of the Sultanate and update their data through the customer service centre’s staff.
