Muscat: The Sultanate, represented by the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA), has signed an MoU in the field of air transport with the Republic of Italy, which will give a major boost to air travel and tourism between two countries.
The agreement allows 28 weekly passenger flights and seven cargo flights between the countries, in place of the current limits that permitted only seven weekly passenger and freight flights, said a statement from PACA.
Currently, Oman Air daily flights to Milan departs from Muscat at 2.40 pm and arrives at the destination at 7.45 pm local time.
