Oman Drydock Company announced the appointment of Haitham bin Nasser al Taie (pictured) as the new General Manager for Finance and Corporate Support. Al Taie who joins Oman Drydock bringing 18 years of experience in finance and Corporate Support, will use his vast experience to lead the improvement efforts of the finance function at the company.
Al Taie previously worked for Oman Shipping Company as General Manager Treasury where he was the anchor behind financing construction of giant oil tankers and the success of the company financial strategy in addition to providing the required support to achieve the company’s vision and strategy. Prior to OSC, Al Taie worked in the banking sector for more than 10 years as Head of Treasury in addition to his membership in several committees.
Haitham al Taie said “I look forward to work with the new leadership team at Oman Drydock to achieve the Company’s objectives and take the ship repair and maintenance services in Oman to new heights”.
“I believe there is a brighter future for Oman Drydock We will leverage on the accumulative experience of our talented team to ensure financial sustainability, achieve excellence in carrying out our projects and most importantly improve the overall experience of our customers” Al Taie concluded.
