Oman Air boosts Duqm frequency

MUSCAT: Oman Air will increase the number weekly flights to Duqm from next week. As per the details available, WY935 will operate on all days of the week, except Friday from October 29. In the first nine months of 2017, around 25,100 passengers used Duqm airport, an increase of 39.3 per cent from 18,009 passengers in 2016 for the same period, said Oman Airports Management Company. As of July 2017, the Ministry of Transport and Communications said that 70 per cent of the work on the third phase involving passenger terminal at Duqm airport has been completed.
