Muscat: Satellite images indicate presence of convective clouds associated with moderate to heavy rains near Socotra Island in the Arabian Sea. Such clouds are 400 km far from coasts of the Governorate of Dhofar. There is no direct influence from such clouds on the Sultanate for the next 48 hours. The National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre affirmed that it is currently observing these clouds. — ONA
