NIZWA, Nov 25 - The Municipality of Nizwa has celebrated the 47th National Day in the presence of Engineer Naseer bin Ali al Siyabi, Director-General of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. He was joined by Ali bin Salim al Muzahmi, Assistant Director of Nizwa Municipality, besides the directors of departments in the directorate and staff members from the directorate and the municipality. The celebration included several activities, including singing of the National Anthem by the children of the Genius Skills Center.
It was followed by a video presentation of the blessed Renaissance. The students of Al Afaq Private School in Nizwa presented a welcome activity. Two students from Al Baraem Private School made speeches in both Arabic and English. Al Shifa al Abri, a student, made drawings in the sand. At the end of the ceremony, the Director-General honoured the institutions, companies and schools participating in the celebrations. All the participating children were honoured.
