MUC introduces ‘The Chromelab’ at BETT MEA

MUSCAT: Roshan Kolar, Director of eLearning at Majan University College (MUC), gave a successful presentation at the British Educational Training and Technology, Middle East and Africa (BETT MEA) 2018 event at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, which took place from April 23 to 24. He spoke about Majan’s most recent innovative EdTech initiative ‘The Chromelab’ at the Tech Talks Theatre in a paper entitled ‘Innovative Learning Spaces Supporting 21st Century Education in the Higher Education Sector’. The presentation received positive support and appreciation from the international audience of industry experts and educators.
BETT MEA featured speakers from more than 20 countries, as well as an exhibition through which in excess of 50 solution providers showcased the latest products and services in education technology. The event served to highlight the rapidly evolving nature of education, with teachers and students adapting themselves to changes in technology. Roshan attended the very first BETT MEA event in 2016, which inspired him to explore innovative ways of using tech in the classroom. This led in due course to the inception of ‘The Chromelab’ at MUC.
