MSM index closes at 5,032 points

MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 on Tuesday added 0.12 points, comprising a slight rise by 0.002 per cent to close at 5032.99 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 5032.87 points. The trading value today stood at RO 1,816,633, comprising a decline by 35.8 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 2,830,450. The report points out that the market value fell by 0.062 per cent to reach about RO 17.76 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 137,000, comprising 7.55 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 869,000, comprising 47.84 per cent. The net non-Omani investment dropped by 40.29 per cent to RO 732,000. — ONA
