MoH ready to deal with tropical storm

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health (MoH) has taken all the measures to deal with the weather conditions, which the Sultanate is about to witness. Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, stated that in order to take all the necessary precautions to deal with this climate conditions in the governorates of Dhofar & Al Wusta, the ministry has precautionarily transported the inpatients in the Sultan Qaboos Hospital and other health institutions in the governorate to other referral hospitals in the governorates according to their respective condition in collaboration with the Royal Air Force of Oman. The minister also indicated that the specialists in the ministry are working around the clock to control the situation in the health sector in collaboration with the relevant authorities, which are ready to deal with the situation according to the procedures followed in the Center for Emergency & Crisis Management, as well as the plan prepared for this purpose. — ONA
