MUSCAT: The Information Technology Authority (ITA) signed on Tuesday a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) at the college headquarters. The MoC was signed in the MCBS premises in Bausher by Omar bin Salim al Shanfari, Deputy CEO of ITA for Operations, and Dr Abood bin Hamed al Sawafi, Dean of MCBS. The MoC aims at promoting scientific research and advanced statistical analysis of surveys. In accordance with the MoC, ITA and MCBS will form a joint collaboration in exploring research opportunities under the MoC. MCBS will provide advanced statistical analysis for some surveys conducted by ITA as well as offering specialised training to ITA’s staff and expertise and consultation in specialised projects; whereas ITA will offer internship opportunities for MCBS students. — ONA
