British Royal Armed Forces to take part in joint Oman-British Swift Sword-3

MUSCAT: Moral Guide of the Command of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (COSAF) held on Monday the first press conference of Al Shomoukh-2 and Swift Sword-3 exercises. The press conference was led by Brigadier Hassan bin Ali al Mujaini, Head of the Moral Guidance at the COSAF, and official spokesman of the exercise, in the presence of senior Moral Guidance officers, representatives of local audio, visual and print media in the Sultanate. The press conference, which was held at the Ministry of Defence Pension Fund, comes within the framework of identifying Al Shomoukh-2 and Swift Sword-3 exercises.

The media men were briefed on the main activities of the exercise and its national objectives. Brigadier Al Mujaini replied to questions raised by representatives of media, which highlighted the interaction and mutual interest in these two exercises. The two exercises will be implemented by the Sultan’s Armed Forces alongside the other military and security services, as well as the participation of a number of governmental entities and civil institutions. The British Royal Armed Forces are also participating in the joint Omani-British exercise Swift Sword-3. — ONA
