MUSCAT: Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to the Sultanate, paid a courtesy call on Shaikh Saad bin Mohammed al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs, at his office on Wednesday.
Shaikh Al Saadi welcomed the Ambassador at his office and praised the excellent bilateral relations between Nepal and Oman. He enquired about Nepal’s current socio-economic and political situation.
During the call on, Dhakal praised the active role of the ministry for the promotion of the several sport activities in the Sultanate.
Shaikh Al Saadi informed that the sports development in Oman is the strategy of the government to engage the youth in sports activities as well as enhance their creativity and competitiveness for the healthy team spirit and participation. They discussed various kinds of cooperation for development of sports in both the countries.
