Board signs agreement for new building for Indian School at Ibra

MUSCAT: The Board of Directors (BoD) signed an agreement with Saif bin Hashil al Maskery for constructing a new building for Indian School Ibra at Al Yahmadi, Ibra with state-of-the-art facilities and the new premises will be operational within two years.


The signing ceremony took place at the office of Al Maskery on March 12.


Wilson V George, Chairman, Board of Directors, Indian Schools said that the event marked the realisation of the relentless efforts taken by the School Management along with the parent community of Indian School Ibra.


Robin Rohit Vincent, President of the School Management Committee expressed gratitude to Saif bin Hashil al Maskery for his support towards Indian community at Ibra and thanked the Board for all its support.


Indian School Board Vice-Chairman C M Najeeb, Directors in charge of the school Baby Sam Samuel and Dr C K Anchan, Principal, Regi Oommen and Assistant Education Advisor Alex C Joseph were also present on the occasion.


The construction work will commence shortly and is expected to complete in 2018.


The new facilities would be beneficial to all stakeholders as CBSE has granted permission to start senior secondary classes at Indian School Ibra.
