The Wadi Al Sahtan road project in South Al Batinah Governorate has been completed at a cost exceeding RO 31 million. Ordered by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos with a view to ending the suffering of the villagers residing in the area, the 30-km road serves more than 31 villages and cuts through valleys and rugged mountains. The road is also expected to contribute to tourism development in an area that is known for its beautiful nature and spectacular scenery.
