South Korean medical delegation to visit Oman

A high-level medical delegation from South Korea is due to visit Muscat on February 15, 2017, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sultanate of Oman said in a statement.
The visit has been organised by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), a nonprofit trade promotion organisation, representing the Commercial Division of Korean Embassy in Oman.
Reputable hospitals from Korea namely Seoul National University Hospital, Samsung Medical Centre, Korea University Anam Hospital, Severance Hospital and View Cosmetic Surgery Clinic will showcase their specialties in areas such as organ transplant, thyroid treatment, cancer treatment, cardiovascular surgery, cosmetic surgery, and so on, during a seminar and one-on-one business meetings due to be held at Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa.
“This delegation will add value to Oman’s medical sector through collaborative arrangements with local public and private medical hospitals, pharmacies, medical companies and interested venture capitalists and investors in Oman.
Medical tourism, patient referrals, hospital set up, knowledge transfer, and so on. are some of the focus areas of this delegation,” the statement added.
