SEZAD Board reviews implementation of projects

The Board of Directors of the Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm (SEZAD) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Yahya bin Saeed al Jabri, Board Chairman, in the main building of the Authority in Duqm.
The Board reviewed the status of various projects and initiatives under implementation at the SEZ. It reviewed progress made in the development of the fisheries hub and harbour, the various packages of Port of Duqm’s implementation, and the Liquid Berth project at the port.
The meeting reviewed the development budget of the Authority, project financing efforts and the report of the Tender Committee. At the end of the meeting, the Board of Directors of the Authority approved the proposed executive plan for 2019.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Special Economic Zone Authority visited a number of projects that are being implemented. The visit included a tour of the fisheries harbour and fisheries industrial hub. They interacted with the engineers and supervisors to hear from them about the progress being made in the delivery of these projects.
