Sayyid Fahd receives Moroccan Minister

His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Chairman of the Moroccan side in the Omani-Moroccan Joint Committee, on Monday. The Moroccan minister conveyed the greetings of King Mohammed VI of Morocco to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
HH Sayyid Fahd praised the strong relations between the two countries, based on brotherly ties and both wise leaderships’ keenness to achieve all that is good and beneficial to the two brotherly peoples.
HH Sayyid Fahd reviewed the existing cooperation between the two countries at various levels and the means to open new horizons to serve the common interests.
During the meeting, the two sides touched on the growing bilateral relations and ways of promoting the work of the Omani-Moroccan Joint Committee, in addition to encouraging the private sector in both sides to carry out its role in the areas of investment. They also reviewed a number of current issues on the regional and international arenas.
On his part, Nasser Bourita expressed Morocco’s appreciation for the role played by the Sultanate in the internal and external levels.
He also praised the Sultanate’s experience in the comprehensive development process witnessed by the country. He affirmed Morocco’s continued cooperation with the Sultanate at all levels.
HH Sayyid Fahd requested the guest to convey the greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to King Mohammed VI. The meeting was attended by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, and Tariq al Hassaissan, accredited Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Sultanate.
