MUSCAT: A workshop on attractive investment opportunities in various fields identified under economic diversification will be held today under the auspices of Dr Mohammed bin Hamad al Rumhy, Minister of Oil and Gas.
The workshop is organised by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), in cooperation with the Centre for Economic Studies and Research.
The event is part of efforts aimed to promoting economic diversification and highlighting lucrative investment opportunities in many fields, apart from showcasing the experiences of local community companies operating in the oil concession areas.
Ahmed bin Said Kashob from the Centre of Economic Studies and Research will welcome the gathering.
The CEOs of various super local community companies in the concession areas will share their experiences working in the oil fields in the Sultanate. Beyond these, there will be sessions that focus on governmental efforts that ensure the local communities companies are getting the maximum benefits from contracts in the oil concession areas. — ONA
