Muscat: The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that there is no evidence of the virus is transmitted by coins or banknotes.
At the same time, WHO said it is important to wash hands with soap immediately after touching money or after a transaction.
"Also, do not touch eyes, mouth, nose, or face or the face mask while or after trading money," WHO said.
