Muscat municipality announces tax exemptions

Muscat: Muscat Municipality on Thursday announced it would stop collecting tax from some covid-hit commercial establishments until the end of December.


Based on the economic stimulus plan to mitigate the repercussions of the pandemic, Muscat Municipality has decided to stop collecting the Municipality's taxes from hotels, tourist restaurants, cinemas, entertainment centers until the end of December, a statement from the Municipality said.
