MSM index gains 21 points

MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 on Sunday added 21 points, comprising a rise by 0.47 per cent to close at 4453.56 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4432.56 points. The trading value stood at RO 2,260,731, comprising a rise by 47.7 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 1,530,111. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value rose by 0.214 per cent to reach about RO 17.71 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 60,000 comprising 2.65 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 956,000 comprising 42.28 per cent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 39.63 per cent to RO 896,000. — ONA
