MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 on Wednesday lost 8.13 points, comprising a decline by 0.16 per cent to close at 5031.73 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 5039.86 points. The trading value stood at RO 1,148,489, comprising a decline by 36.1 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 1,796,557. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by 0.040 per cent to reach about RO 17.83 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 80,000, comprising 7 per cent.
The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 473,000 comprising 41.17 per cent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 34.17 per cent to RO 392,000. — ONA
