Last group of Haj pilgrims to arrive in Muscat today

MUSCAT, Aug 27 – Haj pilgrims from the Sultanate have started returning, with the final group expected to arrive at 8.30 pm on Tuesday. This year, 14,000 pilgrims from Oman under the guidance of Shaikh Abdul Aziz al Ghafri, performed Haj rituals, according to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. “Most of the Hajis from Oman have arrived safely back home while a few are still in Saudi. “They are scheduled to return on Tuesday,” Abdul Aziz al Ghafri, Head of Omani Haj Mission, said.
