Birkat Al Mouz: The general majlis (assembly hall) of Birkat Al Mouz in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate was inaugurated on Saturday under the auspices of Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office.
Strategically located at the gateway of the Niyabat of Birkat Al Mouz, it is built on a 1,600-sq metre plot at a cost of RO 300,000 with designs resembling the Bait Al Radida Fort. It comprises a main hall, two multi-purpose halls and other service facilities.
Majlis in Nakhal: Also on Saturday, the Wilayat of Nakhal celebrated the inauguration of a general majlis under the auspices of Nasr bin Hamood al Kindy, Secretary-General of the Royal Court Affairs.
Constructed at a cost of RO 350,000, the building’s design shows a blend of history and modernity and is considered as one of the achievements in the
wilayat during the blessed Renaissance led by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
