Muscat: Darwish bin Ismail bin Ali al Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs, has issued a circular 12/2020 on stopping the granting of exceptional allowances to the government employees.
The circular said there are Royal directives from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to stop granting exceptional allowances to all state employees, especially
those who will be referred for retirement.
The circular stressed the importance for all ministries, public bodies, institutions and other units of the administrative apparatus of the security and military state and other public legal persons to put the royal orders into practice.
