MUSCAT: Competence HR, market leaders in training & development, recruitment, and HR consultancy, recently conducted a career assessment programme for Oman LNG. The evaluation formed part of a recent recruitment drive by Oman LNG inviting candidates to apply for various positions within the company wherein Competence HR leveraged on its years of sound expertise in the field to corroborate employment objectives by Oman LNG.
A total of 185 prospective candidates were put through Competence HR’s rigorous multi-skill testing programmes that assessed individual capabilities on mental agility, reasoning and speaking. Commenting on the successfully executed assignment, Eng Amer al Fadhil, Managing Partner of Competence HR, said, “Our primary goal, since inception, is to develop training, recruitment and development strategies that fulfil our clients’ objectives and help them acquire the best talent across the industry. This is essentially what we accomplished through our assessment centre for Oman LNG’s recruitment drive so that the company could have the right choice of candidates for its various career openings.”

Oman LNG received an overwhelming response of over 6,800 candidates that applied for various job listings, out of which Competence HR helped streamline and shortlist, 89 applicants. These included 12 Graduate Engineers, 25 Engineering Technician Trainees, 12 Operator Technician Trainees and 40 interns.
