MUSCAT: Tahir bin Salim al Amri, Executive President of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), received on Monday Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Madame Chairman of the Executive Board, and her delegation, at Muscat International Airport. The IMF Managing Director’s short visit to the Sultanate aims at discussing issues concerning the IMF and CBO together with enhancing bilateral relations. The visit is also part of Lagarde’s tour across a number of GCC States to participate in financial forums concerned with the financial and economic conditions in the region and its policies to diversify its economy and sources of national income. — ONA
