Muscat: The Environment Authority has planted 1,000 mangrove seedlings in the wilayat of Al Jaser in Al Wusta governorate.

This campaign comes within the framework of the implementation of the master plan to increase mangrove forest areas.

The project for planting seedlings of mangroves started in 2001 and the Authority has already planted about 685,000 saplings in various areas of the sultanate.
