Transport and logistics forum on Wednesday

MUSCAT: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), represented by the Committee on Transport and Logistics Sector, will organise on Wednesday the 1st Oman Transport and Logistics Services Forum at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) under the auspices of Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications. The forum aims to identify investment opportunities and smart systems in the logistics sector and to review the development strategy of the public transport system in the Sultanate.


The opening ceremony will begin with a welcoming speech by the OCCI Committee on Transport and Logistics Sector to be delivered by Dr Salim al Junaibi, Head of the Committee, followed by a presentation on the transport and logistics sector. The forum includes several working papers on public transport strategy, the future projects, airports system, and the visions of Muscat International Airport, Mwasalat, new taxi vehicles and Bayan customs system. — ONA
