MCBS student excels at Spell Bee contest

MUSCAT: Khaled Salim Said Hamed Al Harrasi, a level 3 GFP student at Modern College of Business & Science (MCBS), won the second runner-up title at the intercollege Spell Bee contest for Omanis organised last week by the Scientific College of Design, Muscat. As many as 35 Omani students from various colleges including Modern College, Higher College of Technology, Oman College of Technology, College of Business and Financial Studies, Scientific College of Design, and Majan College participated in the contest. Another student from Modern College, Mahra Suwaidan Al Hosni, a level 2 student, reached the elimination round of the Spell Bee contest. HCT students won the first two honours. Modern College is a leading private higher education institution in Oman, offering innovative and career-oriented master’s, bachelor’s and diploma programmes  across disciplines.
