MUSCAT: Al Suwaiq beat OPL champions Dhofar 2-0 to lift His Majesty’s Cup at Sultan Qaboos Stadium in Bausher on Thursday. The two teams did not score in the first half perhaps due to the high temperature of 42 degrees centigrade, but in the second half Suwaiq’s manager Hakeem Shaker’s strategy to introduce Fahad al Jalabubi recharged Suwaiq to turn the game in its favour.
