Muscat: Oman Airport Management Company (OAMC) and Hasad Real Estate, a subsidiary of Muscat National Development and Investment Co ASAAS, on Wednesday signed an agreement to lease a land plot to set up information and guidance centre for Oman Air staff at Muscat International Airport. The centre is expected to be completed at the first quarter of 2018, coinciding with the completion of the construction work at the passenger terminal at the new Muscat International Airport.
The new centre aims at meeting the needs of Oman Air crew to cut short the time for air carrier operating at the airport by limiting their need to pass the passenger terminal. OAMC has allocated about 25,000 square metres on which ASAAS will finance and build the centre under the supervision of Hasad. Oman Air will operate the centre according to a 25-year long term contract. The agreement was signed by Shaikh Ayman bin Ahmed al Hosani, CEO of OAMC and Khalid bin Hilal al Yahmadi, ASAAS CEO.
