Muscat, August 21 - The Ministry of Social Development is launching an e-Payment system for revenue collection on Tuesday. Designed in cooperation with Bank Muscat, the system aims at ensuring smooth transactions, saves time and provides easy electronic follow-ups. It deals with transactions related to tenders and public auctions, permit fees for nurseries and rehabilitation centres, as well as social security dues. The initiative is part of the government’s e-transformation that aims at creating an effective government-community-citizen infrastructure to provide better public services to the people.
