MUSCAT: Royal Oman Police (ROP) signed at the Police General Command in Al Qurum on Thursday a cooperation programme with the Ministry of Information in the field of customs services — the release of goods in order to simplify and accelerate customs procedures and to facilitate movement of trade in the Sultanate.

The agreement included a range of items related to the provision of several services, including licence and permits issuing and procedures of goods clearance.

The programme was signed by Maj Gen Sulaiman bin Mohammed al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Ali bin Khalfan al Jabri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Information. — ONA
