The Royal Opera House Muscat is looking to cast ‘Extras’ for one of its opera productions in February 2018. ROHM needs two boys aged between 6 and 8 and with an average height up to 120cm, and 2 girls, aged between 8 and 9 approximately 130 cm tall, to take part in Opéra de Rouen’s production of ‘Norma’.

Your child will need to be available from February 15 to 25, 2018 for all costume fittings, rehearsals and performances.
Please only apply for this production if you know that your child can attend all scheduled sessions.
On February 15, the rehearsal will be from 5.45 pm to 9 pm and then on the following Friday and Saturday from 1.45 pm to 5 pm.
In the week on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, the rehearsal will be from 2 pm to 6.30 pm (can be adjusted to 2.30 if students cannot leave school earlier).
On the day of the performance, the extras will be required to come in at 5.30 on February 22-23.
If your child would like to take part in this production please send one full length photograph, one headshot photograph plus a short cell-phone video of your child (for the video a full
length shot is preferable and should be a very informal introduction by your child telling us why they would like to take part etc) to extras@rohmuscat.org.om with a covering e-mail telling them a little about your child (including name, age, height, shoe size and parental contact telephone number), any previous acting/dance experience and why your child would like to be involved.
Successful applicants will be informed by e-mail if they have been selected and / or if an audition will be required.
Applicants will need to be based locally. Application closing date: January 27.
